Getting to know Bearden

Bearden grew up as a village on the old pike between Knoxville and points west, and it still works like one: a string of local restaurants, boutiques and services along Kingston Pike — the stretch locals call Bearden Village — with established streets of bungalows and mid-century homes tucked right behind the storefronts.

The Homberg Place district adds another pocket of shops and eateries, and Everly Brothers Park (named for the duo’s Knoxville years) anchors the village center. The Third Creek Greenway threads through the area, connecting Bearden by bike path toward the University of Tennessee and downtown.

Its position is the practical draw: roughly ten minutes to downtown one way and to the West Knoxville retail belt the other, with I-40 access at Papermill Drive.

Getting around

Kingston Pike runs the length of the area; quick I-40 access via Papermill; ~10 minutes to downtown.
