Forty-six land listings state one to five acres, the busiest acreage band
Five acreage bands hold a listing · 46 listings in the busiest · median asking $424,950.
Among the 117 active land listings in East Tennessee that state an acreage, forty-six state one to five acres, more than in any other band. That is 39% of them.
The bands run in steps from under one acre to twenty-five acres or more, and a listing goes in the band its stated lot size falls in. The other bands: under 1 acre has thirty-six, 5 to 10 acres has seventeen, 10 to 25 acres has ten, 25 acres or more has eight.
Every price here is an asking price on an active land listing, taken from the MLS feed and our own copy of it. Acreage is the lot size the listing states, and a listing that states none is left out of every acreage figure. Asking price per acre is the asking price divided by the stated acres, so it is an asking figure and nothing more. A median needs three listings or it is left out.
The one to five acres listings state 113.4 acres in all, and the median lot is 2.2 acres. Asking prices run from $98,000 to $6,000,000, and the median asking price is $424,950, or $178,269 per acre at the median.
The biggest tract among them is at 507 Montvale Rd, Maryville, TN 37803 in Maryville: 5 acres, asking $499,900.
The table shows every band that holds a listing, and each row opens the listings in it. The twenty-four biggest tracts of the 46 are shown below, and the search on the main page looks through every active land listing. Each address opens that listing's own page.
