Tracts of twenty-five acres or more are 7% of the listings and hold 49% of the acres. A few big tracts carry a large part of the acreage.
The gap between the two shares for small lots is 53 points. Small lots are the most numerous listings but a smaller share of the land.
Lots of under one acre are 31% of the listings and 2% of the acres. Lots of one to five acres are 38% of the listings and 14% of the acres. Lots of five to ten acres are 15% of the listings and 17% of the acres. Lots of ten to twenty-five acres are 9% of the listings and 18% of the acres. Lots of twenty-five acres or more are 7% of the listings and 49% of the acres.

Every price on this page is an asking price on an active land listing, taken from the MLS listings as of our latest check. Acreage is the lot size the listing states. Asking price per acre is a listing's asking price divided by its stated acres, so it is an asking figure and nothing more. A median needs three listings or it is left out.
Each row of the acreage and city tables below opens the listings behind it, so a count can be checked against the lots it counts. Every acreage band and every city that has a land listing is listed.
This page leaves a lot out on purpose. It does not read zoning, soil, road frontage or remarks, because the MLS listing for land carries no sub-type and the page does not guess.
